Week 10

Yesterday marked the beginning of week 10. Honestly, there isn't much difference between this and the rest of the weeks for me. Exhaustion, fatigue whatever you want to call it, is doing me in. Yesterday after church and lunch I went to lay down and what started as a relaxation time turned into a 3 hour nap. Oh how I feel so lazy! I had all these grand ideas of going to the gym but it just didn't happen.
Today however, was a new day! I woke up at 6:30, got to school (which by the way was my first day back to work) at 8:00, and have been going non stop ever since. I wonder sometimes if it is the heat that makes me tired. Today I was indoors most the time so I think it helped. And on a happy note, I know I complain about my job ALOT...no need to explain why again...but maybe it actually makes me happy to be around people who make me laugh and keep me going. The idea of doing all the work I need to do this year makes me depressed but when I think of the kids it's not as bad.
That's it for today's pregnancy update;)

Bay Area - CLO Summit

When I got here yesterday I HAD to stop and grab a bite to eat (even though Brandon had invited me for a BBQ at his house): I was starving! Well, last time Paige and I went to an italian restaurant in San Francisco called "Di Napoli" (why did I have to say it was an "italian" restaurant?).. anyways... we had found out our waitress (and probably everyone in the back, about 4 people) was Brazilian, and we kinda liked the atmosphere, small restaurant... Well, I just had it in my head that I wanted Italian right after leaving the airport in San Francisco... I typed in a random name on the GPS but missed a turn in a little neighborhood. When I turned back around the next corner I realized, to my surprise, that I had coincidentally stopped in front of Di Napoli!!! What are he odds? Same waitress and "chefs".

Well, tonight we met at our big bosses house by a lake (cool). Everyone in the conference was there to relax, talk, get to know each other AND play a little scavenger hunt as part of our game, they'd find the briefcase with a video in the end. They loved it and got engaged in the activity. Excellent!

Yes Pregnant!

Well since my last post I have been to the Doctor twice. The last time they said they couldn't exactly tell how far along I was...so they scheduled me for another one today. I went and we now have a due date! February 26th. It's so weird because I don't even feel pregnant (other than wanting to fall asleep standing up mid-day). The doctor did however tell me that my Thyroid has hit rock bottom and they are uping my dosage of medicine. Besides that I heard the little heart beat...it sounds like a train. But both the ultrasound technician and Doctor said all signs point to a healthy pregnancy and baby!

Here is a the ultrasound from 7 weeks 1 day and then week 9.

More Pics of Bella

So far Bella has been really sweet..but she is still a handful. Here are some pics from the first few days we have had her...

Her Daddy is teaching her how to use the bathroom outside.
Can you believe she is already trained! It only took a day!

And don't forget that we always use our best manners when entering the house!

When she eats she likes to stick both paws in the bowl to hold it down;)

Brother Bruiser isn't too happy with his new little sister! As you can tell from the pic he has turned his back on us because of it!

Bella has a tendency to just fall over and begin sleeping. You can see that by how I am holding her up and she still doesn't wake up!

While her Daddy is taking his graduate online classes she sits in
his lap to keep him company:)
